Our Mission Savor & Steep makes exceptional loose-leaf tea accessible and meaningful. Guided by Explore • Connect • Reflect, we source high-quality teas from trusted growers and create a welcoming space — in-store and online — where people of every experience level can discover flavor, learn through tastings and workshops, and connect with community.

Our Vision We envision Savor & Steep as the heart of tea culture in Camas-Washougal: a place where beginners find their first great cup, enthusiasts deepen their knowledge, and neighbors gather to share stories over tea. Through education, careful sourcing, and local partnerships, we help people slow down, explore the world in a cup, and make tea a meaningful part of everyday life.

Our Selves 

We are, Sonya and Kelly Tuter, the founders of Savor & Steep together. Sonya brings the deep love of tea and the vision for what the shop could be — the dreamer who sees the possibilities. Kelly, while he enjoys a good cup, is most motivated by supporting Sonya. He’s the practical engineer who helps build solid foundations under those castles in the sky. Together we balance each other well. We both believe the world needs more tea culture: a chance to slow down, enjoy the moment, and remember that simple things are often the most important — and "sip" is worthy of our time.
